Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information please.

  1. You on Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also need full version numbers. Use Winver.exe to get that number.
  2. Fences version numbers.
  3. More information on your issue.

Thanks

What you checked was "enable advanced crash reporting", not enable Fences.

Did you buy a license for Fences?  Open Fences. If you haven't put in your product key, or if you haven't used your account email and password to activate Fences, a splash screen will appear. Enter your information there.

If you're having a hard time understanding English, tell us what language to use.

basj,

I'm in the same boat.  Win 10 Version 22H2, purchased upgrade license to Object Desktop.  Fences (4.0.7.2) will not start for me either.  I have two instances enabled in Task Manager\Startup.  Right click, enable Fences does nothing.  Dragging a Fence does nothing.  Been a user since approximately 2016 and love the software, but something is wrong now.  I see it in forums.  Is there a fix yet?

This issue is not reproduce-able on my end. When you said Fences enabled. Do you see any popup error? Have you check if it just that you have Fences locked?

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

not working, same that :((, I'm really disappointed in the software, I really want teamviewrs to help me, I'm so tired, too waste of my time

Sorry, we don't do teamviewrs. If you have tried purge and reinstall and the issue still the same. Please try cleanboot. https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot.

Also, on your desktop, there is lots of files and shortcuts. Does some of those shortcuts from network shares? If yes, can you try temporary remove them from the desktop and than reboot.

Thank you,

I am very disappointed with your Fences software. It does not work on my computer, and your support has been unhelpful and time-consuming. I just need someone to check it on my machine. I wanted to use TeamViewer to get help, but it wasn't possible. I would like a refund, but I understand that your refund policy may be difficult.
