Migrate to new machine, layout import but files not within fence

I have a stardock user who’s also using One Drive folder redirection on his old machine with fences and it’s working well but migrating him to a new machine is a struggle. He has so many desktop items that the machine is crashing constantly.

I was able to export the backup folder from the old machine and import it on the new one but when I did the restore, the layout on the desktop was there but none of the files were in it. Is there a way to get the files to be organized the same way on the new machine?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know, fences do not work with OneDrive Desktop Sync turn on. This will cause Icon gone missing from fences. Please refer here for what Support comment on it: https://forums.stardock.com/501085/get;3785366
