DOCX, XLSX and PPTX issues

Offices documents are in reality zip files with document extension. It seem Fences try to litteraly open it "as a folder" when they are open in folder portal. I notice it's append especialy when theses file has been downloaded (and have the security popup before open it)

After that, Explorer crashe .... in loop... until you rename the file.

 

You should fix it, docx & cie need to be oppenable as "normal files"

 

You should also add an option that "disable folder browsing" inside the fence portal itself but open folder "as new windows" when you trying to double click on it. Currently, folders in portal just won't have any effect if "folder browsing" is disabled in portal.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can't reproduce this issue on my system. Can you provide more details please.

  1. You on Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also need its full version number please. Use Winver.exe to get it.
  2. Fences version number.
  3. Please post a video grab of this issue so we can understand it better and try to reproduce it on our system.

Is this Windows 11 insider Preview release? Is so, do know that, Stardock does not support it product running on Windows Insider Preview release. However, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their rewiew. We appreciate your feedback.
