Windowblinds 11 - Auto dark and light

Surely an absurd question... can someone point me to a guide how to use the automatic dark and light theme ?

I mean, creating a theme for wb11 that use this feature... so how to use it in skinstudio ?

Hello,
Sorry, but, it still very new for most of us too. Will take sometimes to get use with things specially with Skinstudios etc. Perhaps someone will come along and respond. However, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks

The automatic support means should a window request a dark version part of a skin and the author has not defined one (which will be the case with all the older skins), it will create a suitable one from the light mode versions.

So as an example if you had Windows in light mode and opened notepad on Win11 and set that to use the dark mode theme on itself then the notepad window will have a darkened version of the theme rather than the normal theme.

Authors can use SKS11 to define their own images and colours to use in this situation if they wish.

Yes... I had the feeling it would work like that...

The question is how to do it ?

Do we have to define a substyle ? Where do we set that that color will be used as dark ?

I have surely missed the option in skinstudio... I just want a tip of where should I begin to search for this...

End of Ralendil's quote

Each of the sections should have a button for you to define dark mode images on the image tab in skinstudio.

You do not define a new substyle, it is part of each substyle itself.

It does require you to be using Skinstudio 11.
