What problems do you have, you must remember that BootSkin at present is only an Alpha version, it will get better

For the time being you can report any problems here

That prob is known.

If you are making a skin then make sure the Main pic and Progress bar have the same Palette

If it's one that you downloaded, then it's the same prob, but the authors fault

"it placed Windows in my recycle bin!!"

Oh that's not good. Best email SD support since this may be related to having a dual boot system (as some people have) and it'd be good for them to know what happened so this can be looked at.

Ok, I can't import .bootskin flies, or export them. It says 'corrupted file error' for importing, and 'invalid filename or read-only directory' for when ii export. I can make ones myself, thats not a problem, but i want to use ones other people have made!

It's an alpha build and this is a known issue on some systems...if you're having this problem you're better off just not using it until it's a little more refined.

Kyro: there are a number of other threads here (and perhaps also the Help discussion board, I haven't yet checked) where people have similar issues. If you haven't already you might want to check them out and see if any info there helps. If not, well you could wait for a later build to come out and then see if people are still reporting those issues.

I have a suggestion; I don't know if this is the place to write it, but i will anyway

In a future version of the program, there should be a way to test out a bootskin without restarting the computer all of the time.

My main problem is that I have never rebooted since I installed it, and I probably won't for another week or two. Even if you rebooted three or four times a day you only see the image for like ten seconds, right? Dunno, to each his own.
