I have an issue that started once i installed windows 11 22h2. There is a horizontal line above my taskbar. Didnt have this issue on windows 11 until the update. I am using the latest beta version of Start11. Windows version\build: 22h2 (build 22621.521)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is known issue for fully transparent taskbar. Try enable the "Taskbar Enhance" and see if that remove the line.

Thanks

In 1.27, when items like Documents, Music, etc. are set to "Display as a menu" with the Windows 10 style, the results are unpredictable. I don't believe these are working as intended. Sometimes, it opens if you click on subfolder names in the pop-up, other times the subfolders only open if clicking on the arrow to the right of the folder name. Sometimes, subfolders open on hover (mouse-over), sometimes they don't respond to hover at all and require a user click. The main icons never open the flyout on hover, which is fine. It's the subfolders inside those that have the intermittent behavior.

The line is a normal feature of Windows 11.

I usually don't apply a texture to the taskbar was playing around with start 11 1.27 and I notice that if I have HDR enabled the texture doesn't show. I probably would not have noticed it if windowblinds 11 did not have a issue with HDR.

As in previous versions, the "most used applications" list never shows applications I use. The list is filled with auto-started applications, and the applications I search-start never show up. (using Modern style)

At the top of the list is always "Xbox Game Bar", something I have never ever used. If I remove it from the list, it will return after a while.

No turning off "Let window 11" feature does not remove the annoying line. And nah the line is not a normal feature for win 11. Hope it gets resolved.

I am not sure if you're referring to the same thing here, we suggested, to remove that 1 pixel line you'll need to turn on Enhance Taskbar. ie let Start11 take control of your taskbar and put in those "enhancement" into your taskbar.

Yes it is.  It is new in later versions of Windows 11.

The line existing is not a bug in Start11 or Windows 11.  Microsoft intentionally added it to separate the taskbar from the wallpaper better.  It just becomes more obvious the more transparent you make the taskbar.

Yes confirmed a fresh install of W11 22H2 with nothing else installed does indeed add a top border to the taskbar.

OK! Really annoying, I hope you guys find a work-around to overlap the line. Dont understand why MS would implement it when the stock taskbar was already too visible as it was.

When using the Start11 Enhanced Taskbar with the new center icons, but don't use the Start11 start menu, the Windows Menu always open in the left.

Is this a known bug? :)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Need to know your Windows 11 full version number, please. Use Winver.exe to get it.

Note that im NOT using the Start11 Start Menu. Just the "Enhanced Taskbar" option.

If i enable the Start11 Start menu works fine.

Okay, sorry about that. I can reproduce the issue. I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Known issue, not likely to change.

It would be expected you would use the Start11 menu with the enhanced taskbar.  The Microsoft menu does what it wants :)

Unfortunately I don't have a registration yet because I'm on trial. So I can't see the new version.
But I would only buy it if I'm sure it works well.
But now I can't try it :(
"funny" situation, any advice ?

Buy it you won't regret it. Or just wait until it comes out of beta then you'll be able to download the trial.

Okay, one more question:
The problem is that since the last windows update, when I put the taskbar on top, the applications don't detect this and put the content behind the taskbar.
Does 1.27 fix this bug ?

Have seen this bug for awhile, but only recently pinned down how to reproduce it.

If you are currently in the right click dialog menu on something on your start bar, then any new windows notifications are shifted to the current right click menu (instead of in the bottom right corner).

Here GHub posts a notification when you change the mouse DPI so it was easy to reproduce, but this happens with any notification and any program's right click menu.

Any response to this?
