Installation error

I tried installing Start11 on my Windows 11 machine for the first time (new customer). After the installation started, my screens started flashing. I let it run for a couple of minutes, then I killed the Start processes in Task Manager. Rebooted my PC. Tried re-running the Start11 installation. Now I get a pop-up as soon as the installation starts: "Your computer must be rebooted in order to complete the installation. Would you like to reboot your system now?" Rebooted and tried again. Same error.

Suggestions? I'd really like to give this product a try, but it won't install.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I've purged, rebooted and re-tried 3 times with the same result. I have a screen video if you would like me to upload it.

Can we have more information on your system.

  1. Windows 10/11 full version numbers. Use Winver.exe to get it.
  2. Start11 version you trying to install.
  3. Your system CPU, Intel, AMD or ARM?
  4. Do you have any other Startpanel/taskbar modification application installed?

Windows: Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.856)

Start11 version: File properties / Product version = 1.25.0.0 (I downloaded from your website at the time I installed)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz   2.21 GHz

This is a fresh Windows 11 install. I don't have any other startpanel/taskbar modification applications installed
