title bars from fences are off screen

from Stardock Forums 
After a power failure, the fences are shifted so that the title bars are off-screen. 
I can't move or delete the fences because I can't get to the title bar. 
Without a title bar, I don't get a menu.
Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help as Windows remembers the old locations. 
How do I bring the fences back into screen space? Or how do I delete them, when the title bars are out of screen?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need know few things.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need to know its full version number. Use Winver to get those.
  2. Fences version?
  3. Did you try the restore layout snapshot? try those from one or two days ago.

I see the backup from the working fences (... AppData/Roaming ...)
But I don't see any instruction or menu to restore such a backup.

You can restore your layout snapshot within the Fences Configuration windows. Refer to screenshot below.

Unfortunately this doesn't work. Although the positions are displayed correctly (in the Layout snapshots), the wrong positions are produced after restoring. A fence is created always in such a way that the title bar is outside the screen. All fences from screen 2 are restored on screen 1. I can't move anything because I can't get to the title bar. A folder portal starts above the screen and ends below the screen. I haven't changed the resolution (2560 x 1440) and I have not changed the monitors.

Hello,

Can you try to change the scaling, if you have higher than 100%, bring it down to 100%, you should than be able to get to those hidden title bar.

Thank you, but the scaling is already 100%.
I have now searched the registry and found an entry for the affected fence and deleted it.
You can also change the coordinates of every fence there.
After restart the fence was gone.
This solves the problem.
