The mysteriously moving mouse...

Ever since I installed ObjectBar, my mouse will move all on it's own. It always moves from right to left, going from one edge of the screen all the way across to the other. This does not happen all at the same time, but in increments, moving left about an inch, then maybe 15 minutes later, another inch. Sometimes, it will also right click itself. That happens no matter what I'm doing: browsing the web, playing a movie, or just sitting on the desktop. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using a USB Microsoft Trackball (4 button plus scroll wheel). Thanks!

My mouse will go funny too once in awhile, but I dont know if its OB. Mines been doing it since before I installed it. It just jumps anywhere from 1 to 4 inches on my system. Irritating!! Try playing a first person shooter with that.

I have that problem too and Im also using Trackball mouse. It has nothing to do with ObjectBar. When this happens I just unplug and then plug the mouse back and it solves the problem. Its a little annoying, but I've learn to live with it

One time my mouse was doing stuff like that... turned out my keyboard needed cleaned, something was jambing my arrow buttons, or my space button. It never clicked, but something in your enter key would make it look like that. Did you spill anything on your keyboard lately?

I had that problem with my first optical mouse and I hadn't even hear of Stardock then I ended up unplugging from the USB port and using the PS2 adapter for the mouse port. It freed up a USB slot and fixed the problem. Wish my problems with my girlfriend could be fixed that easily

could be crud on the viewer window for the light read inside the mouse..

I clean mine off now and then and it seems to stop it from happening.

These are all good points, but unfortunately, none of them apply to my problem. I did try moving the mouse to a different USB port, but it still did the same thing overnight. My keyboard is brand new, so that's not the problem (installed before I tried OB). Maybe I'll try my wireless mouse next, and see what that does.
