Using multiple monitors and every Windows update (using Win 11) the Fences all move to main monitor

I'm using Fence 3.1.3.3 on Windows 11 with 2 monitors - laptop screen & larger external monitor (set in Windows as the main).
I keep the fences grouped on the smaller monitor so that I can easily access apps while working on my big monitor.
Problem is that when Windows gets updated my fences get moved from 2nd monitor to main
- the grouping remains consistent, it's just all relocated
- thankfully I can restore from an old saved layout but most of the new saves don't correctly restore (fix migration) even though the preview image shows fences & icons placed as desired.

I found a work around, using the old save, so this issue isn't critical - just annoying.
Just wondering if there's a setting or other fix/hack to prevent this from happening in the first place.
