restored the snapshot but all of the icons are gone

I restored the snapshot but all of the icons are gone, I thought that was the point of backing up the snapshot?

Did you try a different snapshot ?

Yes - I tried two different ones - the windows are there but all of the icons and links are gone - now I have to back and rebuild the whole thing manually
