Information at the press conference on the morning of July 1, 2020 organized by the Government Office in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Security, and Vietnam Social Security, the Minister, the Head of the Office Government Mai Tien Dung said: The electronic copy certified from the original in the form of a paper document is valid to use instead of the original used for verification in transactions.

For people and businesses, the service of certifying an electronic copy from the original on the National Public Service Portal provides an appointment booking facility, helping to reduce the waiting time when carrying out procedures.

The digitally signed copy of the certificate of authenticity ensures its integrity, accuracy and can be reused many times; can be done completely online for most of the administrative procedures provided in the electronic environment.

At the press conference, functional sectors also introduced instructions for using 5 public services: Change driver's license level 4; Continue paying voluntary social insurance; Renewal of the health insurance card according to the household; Pay money for handling administrative violations in the field of road traffic under the authority of the Traffic Inspector; Paying for handling of administrative violations in the field of road traffic falls under the authority of the Traffic Police. According to the assessment of functional sectors, the integration and provision of the 725th public service and these public services can save social costs of about VND 1,686 billion/year.
