When dragging file from tab A and dropping it to tab B view returns to tab A

Is there a setting that can be enabled so that when dropping a file into a tab from another tab, the tabs don't switch back? So, I want to stay in the tab I dragged the file to.

Eg. I have an Explorer tab ( A ) and a Premiere Pro tab ( B ) When I drag a file from A to B and drop, then it switches back to A. The behavior I would like here is for me to then keep the view in Premiere Pro so I can work with the file I just dragged.

Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from my testing, the tab where it is dropped will be active once you dropped the tab onto it. Can you post a video on this happening and your setting on groupy.

After you drag the file/folder from the first tab to the second tab make sure to continue dragging down inside the window until the "Move to name of folder" tool tip displays and then release. The file/folder should be moved and remain in the tab to which you moved it.

Sorry, but, that look like normal Windows behavior. with or without Groupy.  I don't believe Groupy can control that.

Thank you,
