Start 11 verion 1.24 keeps opening browser to upgrade to 1.24

from Stardock Forums

I have OD installed and I updated to Start 11 1.24 on Windows 11 21H2. After the update clicking the start button or pressing the start key or trying to go to config in OD all launch my default browser directly to the start 11 update page for 1.24.

 

I have removed and installed the product multiple times from both OD and the download via the update page and nothing will fix the issue.

 

At this point to use the system I had to revert back to the built-in start solution to continue working.

 

Can someone please provide some assistance?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot (important), download the latest installer directly from your product account page : https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install that version. reboot and retest. Report back here.
