Cannot upgrade to Windows 11

Stardock Software preventing me from updating to Windows 11

My company is upgrading all our computers to Windows 11 and cannot upgrade mine. We get a message that says we need the latest version of Start11. We have tried deactivating it, uninstalling it, but no luck. I know I cannot be the only person who has come across this. Not sure if it is on the Start11 so I put this in the ObjectDock category because that is what I have. Please help ASAP.

The latest version of Start11 is 1.24.

What version are you currently using?

The connection between Start 11 preventing upgrading to W11 is something I haven't heard before in these Forums. I think you should look for a different cause.

There seems to be a Start11 and a Stardock Start11 and it's the Stardock Start11 that says I need the latest version. I have downloaded it and will try it tonight. Don't know what version I have but just bought ObjectDock last week.

Was finally able to install windows 11 but now stuck in a loop saying fences has an issue with closing explorer. I’ve been reading forums about it. If I cannot use fences with windows 11, I would like my money back on objectdesktop.

When you are reinstalling make sure you get the latest version of Fences 4 from your Stardock account.

It was the Window Blinds that was causing the problem. I now see at the BOTTOM of that page that it is not compatible with Windows 11. Guess someone should know that and have told me. It is one of the utilities from Stardock that I really like. When/if it becomes compatible with Windows 11, I would love to get it back. Thanks and I am up and running now (albeit without Window Blinds).

Sorry for your troubles, mate, but I'm sure everyone would, but Windowblinds was not mentioned, so no-one could know. A new version of Windowblinds for 11 is rumoured to be in the making though, so that's good news!

Touché JanOscar. The first error I was getting said it was from Start11 so I never mentioned that I had purchased Object Desktop and had all the utilities.
