playlist freezing on desktop

windows 10

i have a large playlist that i set to change every 30 seconds. but sometimes i assumed it happens as the scene is getting ready to or is the process of changing, it just freezes on the desktop and won't go to the next dream. i can't get out of the freezing either by reapplying the dream or pausing and restart. what is the problem? is it the 30 sec transitioning of the dreams? maybe i should set it to change every minute instead? is it a  problem with my pc's system? there is no amount of time in between that this happens. i never know when it will freeze up.

im using deskscapes version 11

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Your playlist contains dreams or static images? Where are the folders of those images, video or dreams located? Have you tried setting the timing higher?

Thanks

im specifically talking about the dreams from the stardock folder located in C:\Users\...\Documents\Stardock\Dreams.

i put them as a playlist in the deskscape app and applied it to "all monitors". i didnt try raising the timer yet. right now its set at 30 seconds,  sequential backgrounds. automatically change when video ends is also checked

now my playlist will not display as set in the effects tab. some backgrounds i flipped horizontally  and the pix show the applied effects but when i run the playlist the flipped backgrounds are flipped back around.

applied individually they are okay.
