Do Ship Special Abilities get affected by Leader Stats?

I know with ships the get stat bonuses from the commander states.. like Diligence increases HitPoints and Resolve increases Attack...

but...

TL;DR : what about the special abilities of commander ships like POLLEN which has "+30% Growth and +30% Food to worlds in Range"... do the Commander Stats Effect that Ability in anyway?

I've noticed you've posted a lot of short questions about gameplay and mechanics for GalCiv IV. You might find such questions are easier, and better, asked/answered by our discord community. I like forums myself and enjoy reading the questions because it makes one think about the game again from the pov of someone totally new to the series. Very valuable stuff.

What is discord? 

I'm old man. As in I bought MOO when it was a brand new game and I wasn't a then kid either, kind of old. Forums are about the limit of my understanding of things.

What is discord?

Good point about the AAR. We'll make sure that gets setup ASAP.

Discord is kind of like IRC but with a login. We have actually had an AAR section on there for awhile now too haha.

We encourage you to use both discord and the forums. But in my opinion the forums are better for longform discussion whilst discord is better if you just have quick questions or want to pick the brains of other players in realtime.
