Orange and Black, or blue and black.

Ok, yeah, there are a lot of great skins here, some really good artists (I guess thats what you'd be), but theres way too much blue. Even though its my favorite color, it gets old. So i'd like it very much if someone... anyone... would create a black and orange or a black and blue windowblinds skin, the only things are: 1. I don't really like the 'bubble icons', 2. I'd like the black to be glossy (spiffy) 2a. the orange to be somewhat of a deep orange, much like a... ah, like the color of the 'orange scented Pledge dusting thing'... very nice 2b. (or not.. 2b) the blue to be as like the blue on Pink Floyds The Dark Side of the Moon prism (between the green and violet.. maybe a slightly bit darker). 3. Sure, put your name on the skin (like in the start menu,) but please, have it a reasonable size, much like in the skin for windowblinds, 'Prey'. Some icons and a wallpaper would be great, too, but i'm sure they don't take a minute to make, so yeah, if anyone could or would do this, i'd be very happy, grateful, a sense of completeness...

*Note: The black and blue is to be containging little blue and more black, much like the 'Prey' skin has a lot of black, and some grey. Same as the orange, containing mostly glossy black and some orange.

Try this one, I made it about a week ago. Lots of black and orange highlights. There is also a matching sysmetrix with black and orange highlights.

Those are nice skins, Chas, but not quite what i'm wanting. Hus, nobody HAS to make the skin, but it'd be nice if someone would. Like I said in my first post, i'd attempt it, but i'm sure i'd lose intrest, also I don't really like my own work.

Ok so let me ask you one more question. If you would lose interest, why should someone else devote the time to make a black spiffy glossy skin with a deep orange scented pledge color and then a dark prism blue sub-skin without the author posting a very big tag without bubble icons? Would you be so nice as to make such a skin if you could? I doubt it. No one here wants to do it...why? Because they much rather create something that they themselves would like...not something ONLY you want. To me, that seems a bit selfish and the reason why no one will make you a skin.

P.S. Please don't reply with "if I could I would..." or "it's a skin everyone would like"

I mean no harm in my post, just trying to educate you on how things work...

Yes, Hus, actually I WOULD make someone a skin, to their specifications, just for them, all for them, for no one else, but only them, them only... if I knew how to. Other people would like it too, i'm sure. Like i've said, there are a lot of great skins/skinners and certain artists have certain things about their skins that people like. Also, Hus, you DON'T have to make it, so you don't need to worry. If you think i'm selfish, thats fine. You've got your own opinions, i've got mine. China, i've sat and listened to people for 6+ hours straight, i've got patience, but I don't enjoy my own work and therefore I lose interest in it.

Skinning generally is a volunteer effort.....otherwise known as a 'hobby'. Only a few people are involved in commercial skinning, where a specific work could be commissioned [for a fee], so normally the public non-skinner/user MUST accept what is freely given, and it is only polite and appropriate to 'request/suggest' a design providing there is absolutly no compunction or onus forced upon anyone to ablige.

There are exactly two choices....

1. A specific work/design is commissioned.

or

2. A skinner already has one suitable, or is freely inspired to create it in his/her own good time.
