Cursors from 2012 with Over 1000 Daily Downloads

from Stardock Forums

There are cursors with over a 1000 daily downloads. Typically, 50 to 75 daily downloads are the range for very popular cursors. Are these real downloads or is there a glitch in the system? Just curious because there has not been this much interest in CursorFX for a while now.

Fluctuations have in the past been noted with other apps, as well. As far as I remember, they were glitches that the data base corrected.

Skins here can only be sold by Master skinners. While it's theoretically possible to manipulate download count, it's more likely that it's a glitch in the database.

I've looked at past posts on this topic. It seems that since forever, pretty much, the daily counts have been at times inaccurate. While the dl's are understandably important to authors, it's probably more accurate to look at 30 day trends.
