Restoring layout

When I play games sometimes I have them running in a different resolution to my desktop, when I finish playing my desktop returns to the original resolution I have it set to but my desktop icons have moved to halfway up the screen is there any way to get fences to restore the last snapshot taken instead of me having to do the restore manually every time and if so how do I do it.

btw I have the Store my Fences positions on a pre-screen-resolution basis option ticked and my fences are always where they should be but not the separate icons on the desktop.

I forgot to mention I'm using the latest version of fences 4 and I am on Windows 10 Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1586), Nvidia RTX 2080 Super with the latest drivers (512.15).

Yes, like I said the fences go back to the positions but the separate icons on the desktop don't get restored automatically I have to go into the restore option and do it manually.

If using the 'reset' option pictured there does not help, restoring a snapshot is the best option.
