Fences on the wrong screen after login

After so much frustration with Fences 3, I was looking forward to Fences 4 only to find out that not much has changed when it comes to showing Fences on the right screen after windows login.

I turn on my laptop with 2 additional screens, ext#1 and ext#2. The Windows login dialog shows up on ext#2 (primary screen) as desired. The taskbar and the start menu also appear on ext#2, as desired. Fences however appear on the laptop screen. I change the primary screen in Display properties to the laptop. Fences remain on the laptop screen. I change the primary screen back to screen #ext2, Fences briefly appear on ext#2, but then quickly go back to the Laptop screen. And there is no option like "Move Fences to screen #". Deeply frustrating.

So many people have asked for better control on where the Fences appear to no avail. The "restore layout snapshot" option isn't good either as I cannot possibly take snapshots every time I make a change. If this is how it's to be, I'm uninstalling this product for good.
