ObjectDock Double Monitor Issue

Hello,

There is an issue im having with ObjectDock + Double Monitor.

Sometimes, I use the Secondary Monitor with another computer so i change the display output

The docks im having in the Secondary Screen. They'll transfer to the Primary Monitor and stay there.
(Even after I put Secondary Monitor back again)

So, just like Fences, it would be convinient to save dimensions and recover with snapshots back to the original location

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

What version of Windows ?

OD is not supported for Win10 or 11

So if that's the case some feature may work and others won't .

Hello AzDude,
Thank you for the quick response.
Is ObjectDock discontinued?
My OS is Win10

I also noticed in the settings menu, the dock will still be checked as Monitor 2

But It'll be stuck in Primary monitor due to turning off/switching monitor 2 earlier
I Think that will be a very simple fix to recover back to previous position when Monitor 2 is detected again.

Kind regards

Hello JanOscar,
I understand the software is outdated,
Thought I'll report this issue and it could maybe be updated.

Or I may go look for alternatives,
But in general I like Stardock software.

Kind Regards

End of resintek's quote
I'm afraid that's not going to happen. What I personally had hoped for is that Stardock would make a new dock, but I think not, and although a differnt approch on desktop shortcuts, I think the very popular Fences is their answer.

Hello Resintek,

Unfortunately, I do not have a work around to get this working. I believe it has reached its end of life.

Here is a list of compatibility, note TBD means they may update. LINK

edit

I have to agree with Jano on his recommendation. Fences also has a lot of productivity upsides that other docking software does not currently offer

Hello PhoenixRising1,
Thank you for your recommendations and the list.

Of course! I been using Fences for many many years.
Recently thought i'll give some other apps a try like Groupy (which i love btw)
And some kind of docking software, but unfortunately this little issue forces me to put all docks in primary monitor.

So I may look for an alternative for that one,
Cheers
