Fences Fonts Too Small To Read

Fences Menus Appear pixelated and tiny on 4K monitor

On my 4K monitor, the icons and fonts used to Customize your Fences appear too small. While the font may actually be about 10pt, on a 4K non-scaled monitor at 100% resolution, they are difficult to read.

Is there a registry or other setting that can be used to adjust the font size? For example, they appear this small. Furthermore, the font appears pixelated.

If not, in the future perhaps such a setting can be added!

There has been no response from anyone on this post, so I thought I would add an illustrative image.

  • I am now using Fences Beta 4.0.5.11 but this does not appear to improve the font size display.
  • I have increased my windows 11 text size (i.e. System->Display->Scale->Text Size) but that does not affect the Fences fonts.
  • I have also experimented with the Windows High DPI Settings for Fences.exe but these changes had no apparent affect.
  • It would be very helpful to be able to set / adjust the font size settings for high dpi (e.g. 4K) monitors like mine.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Can you post a bigger image with some contrast?

Fences Font Sample

This is the actual screen capture. Be sure your browser is set to show at 100% to see the size. To see any more detail, you can zoom in on your browser. The screen capture px dimensions are 917w x 988h. This should be viewed on a 4K monitor, which shows a greater number of pixels in the same square inch area than a lower resolution monitor. If you are using a lower resolution monitor, you will will not see a tiny font.

My workaround for this issue is to use the Windows Magnifier to better view the font.

For me, I found an initial zoom level to 225% to work on my 4K monitor, with the View set at Full Screen (Ctrl + Alt +F) works.

My similar problem is that I can not get the whole filename to show on the icon, it gets truncated...how can I get the entire filename to show?
