start 11 does not function accordingly.

I press the start, it opens the integrated win 11 start menu. second press opens the Stardock's start 11 menu for split second then closes. in previous OS win 10, I had no trouble with start10. it actually replaced the windows system start menu. and work fine. not in win 11, dear dev' please fix, so it will work properly.

no luck. Two Start menus are active at the same time. is there a way to upload the video showing the problem?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you have any other 3rd party product installed that also deal with Startpanel and/or taskbar? If you do please uninstall those. Reboot, retest and report back.

Thanks

BTW, have you try the latest beta version V1.11 Beta as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/509537. If not also please test that.

Thank you,

not that I know of. I used "start 10" with "win 10" with no issues at all. worked beautifully. I just upgraded to win 11, that's about the only thing that is new. it should have been with no issue just as well.

Is this a fresh install Windows 11? or an upgrade install from Windows 10?

Thank you,

Can you set Start11 to replace the start button as it looks like you are using a RTL language which I imagine didn't get tested.

With a custom start button does it work ok?

it's an upgrade. to note that my previous PC had a win 10 upgrade over win 8, and the start 8 and even start 10 worked with no issues. this PC I'm using now is new, bought it a week ago with fresh win 10.

the OS is in the RTL language. it had no trouble with the previous OS 8/10. I hope this issue will resolve someday. I starting to get used to the idea to settle with the OS start menu as it is. I have to admit I like some of the new features added by Microsoft, except for the lack of organizing the apps.

Did you try a custom start button?

Do you mean Stardock's start 11 button?

Yes.  Set a custom image vs using the stock OS one.

Does that solve the issue for you?

no, it did not. the issue remains the same.

I take it back. took me a while to understand. yes, changing the custom button fixed it. the only issue left, is, the names of the apps don't align well with the apps. is there a way to adjust?

thank you for your comment. it helped me to realize.

It looks like we need to do some tweaking for rtl languages.

I will see about getting that added to the things to investigate for a future update (After 1.11.1)
