Start11 multiple licences

I upgraded my Start10 licence to Start11 recently and while my account page says the software key is valid for multiple licences, attempting to install it on a second machine gave me a message stating that only a single installation was permitted.  I definitely had Start10 installed on two separate machines with the same key previously, so did the upgrade remove one of the licences?

I recently purchased an additional license which is evidenced by the [2] next to the product key, but when I view the list of activated machines it says I have 2 current activations out of 1 total (it's a single license key). I have also had Start 11 on the second machine flag up that the license has been deactivated and needs reactivating, whereupon I have to remove it from the list within my account, and then reactivate it.
