Shortcut icons intermittently positioned outside the group

Shortcut icons intermittently positioned outside the group

Team,

There has been several times where shortcut icons (drag & drop from other windows etc.) resulted in the icons positioned outside the group.

Also, on multiple monitors, after restarting / randomly, all icons (outside the groups) rearranged itself and stacks together.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What is your resolution of your monitors and at what scaling? (100%, 125% etc)

Thanks

No - I provided my current screen resolution details. Every time I connect/disconnect external monitors, the placement of the icon changes.

Hello again,

Is this one Monitor or multiple monitor but using something like Nvidia Surround/Span function? If only one monitor. Can you share the model and brand of this monitor.

Thank you,

This is the only monitor connected in addition to the default laptop monitor!

So you do have another monitor connected. What is the resolutions and scaling on your laptop display?

The laptop monitor is being used as a secondary monitor.. The primary monitor is only the one being used.

Yes, that I can expect. But as an integrated part it will play a part of the whole system performance. Even you put it a secondary monitor. It will still be the first display get recognize by the system when your boot up, yes?

Thank you,

I only use the 49" gaming monitor as the primary display.

Hi AzDude,

I've found another issue with Fences. There are times (again in Win11) where I can only see the outline of the fences on my desktop and NOT the icons. Either restarting the computer and waiting for few minutes, resolves the issue. Any thoughts?
