Start11 Outlook cannot permanently remove from All Programs list

Using Start11, under All Programs I use only folders and sort all my applications/programs in them. All my Microsoft Office programs are in the Microsoft Office folder. The issue is Outlook. I delete from the All Programs root and for some reason it keeps coming back to the All Programs root. Any idea why or how I can remove it permanently from the All Programs root, and not have it continuously keep returning to the root.

I suspect you are still using Outlook, however, yes?  If so, it is likely recreating itself upon use where Start11 looks for such things.

Dear Sean, Thank you for the prompt reply. Yes. I am still using Outlook. (I need it for work.) I completely agree. I believe each time I open Outlook, it recreates a link of some sort in the All Programs folder and Start11 reads it as a link.

Any ideas? Thanks again.

Dear Sean, I have also taken a photo of the culprit file that keeps remaking itself, everytime I open Outlook. Since Start11 uses two folders to read the start menu items:

Individual:

C:\Users\X1GEN3\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

Universal:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

You can see from the photo I just took, that it comes from my Individual folder, AppData....

Start11 will simply show the shortcuts that exist and if they are being recreated then it would be the app doing so as Start11 itself will not create shortcuts to things like that.

The best solution may be to find the shortcut and mark it as hidden from the properties menu.  It will probably not appear in the future once you sign out and in again.

Dear Neil, Thank you kindly for the suggestion to change the status of the file to "hidden", since Outlook is continually recreating the menu file, it worked great and problem solved. Sometimes the simplest method is the best! Have a Happy New Year to you and the Stardock team! I should note, as you stated, that Start11 needs a reboot for the effects to be active.
