Icons shifting in Windows 11

There is a strange and very annoying issue with Start11 and Windows 11.  This issue did not occur with Start11 and Windows 10.  It also does not occur if I uninstall Start11. The issue is, very frequently all of the icons on the desktop shift up by a few pixels causing them to all rearrange.  There is also and area below (I have the task bar on the top) below the task bar that does not get repainted and just leaves trails behind what ever passes it (mouse pointer, windows etc.).

You can see the icons shifted up and I highlighted the black bar that does not get repainted (taking the screenshot clears the trails left behind).  The only way to fix this is to kill explorer and restart it.  But it will just come back again.  Very frustrating.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know if you have use any other 3rd party application or modification on taskbar on your system other than Start10?

Did you also set your taskbar back to bottom when you removed Start11?

As Start11 itself should have no impact what so ever on the desktop, but having the taskbar at the top possibly could.

I do not have any other 3rd party taskbar apps installed.  This also happens if the taskbar is on the bottom.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
