Start11 Custom New Toolbar on Taskbar

Windows 10 allowed me to create new toolbars on the taskbar.  I always had my Desktop and my Favorites as toolbars and often a third but this is no longer available in Windows 11.   I don't see specific mention of this in the posts (although did see one about the Address Bar which is similar).   Is this available in Start11 or planned?   I have been using ClassicShell/OpenShell on corporate Windows 10 systems for all of my users and the absence of this feature is a big drawback for moving to Windows 11.  Thanks!

Hello,

I have forwarded your report to the Stardock support team for their review and recommendations.

Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates.

We really do appreciate your feedback, thanks.

*** Note  ***  There will be Taskbar issues addressed in the next version of Start11 1.1

Hi,

I am a HUGE fan of a 3rd party toolbar used to display internet speeds (download/Uploads) right from the taskbar, and it is SUPER convenient for me to always have an eye on how much my computer is downloading or uploading.

This toolbar integration was there in win10 natively, but now since I am using Start11 on windows 11, I see no such option for my toolbar to appear on my taskbar and also the app does not work at all with start11, I think due to limitations inside start11.

Please, it would be hugely appreciated if you could work something out on this soon.

Like the OP, I miss the option of adding custom toolbars to my taskbar.

AzDude, in November 2021, suggested, Taskbar issues might be addressed in the "next version of Start11 1.1". Well, here we are, more than a year later with 1.3.6 being the current version of Start11 but I still don't see a way to add custom toolbars and I still have to use ExplorerPatcher to get this functionality.

What is the status of this request? Is this feature still planned for Start 11 (and if it is, what is the expected arrival date?)

I have used https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/wiki/All-features with windowblinds and I can now get my toolbars for my programs. And it looks nice because of windowblinds. If I add in start11 I can change the style as well.

@justinshepherd1:  In my post I said: "I still have to use ExplorerPatcher to get this functionality".

Are toolbars possible with Start11, yet?

Hello,
From what I can see, no.

Thanks
