a couple of feature requests start11

really great tool!

just a couple of thoughts

1) why don't things i've pinned to start11 in one theme show up in the start menus of all themes? this seems kind of obvious...?

2) the ability to drag the taskbar to two -or more - rows of icons would be very helpful

3) right-clicking on the taskbar using touch or a surface pen (long press, or click-tap with the pen) still does not bring up the functional menu, only the dumbed down win11 'taskbar settings'

thanks!

End of quote

The reason each style has its own pinned list is because they all have different setups for items.

Win7 list would get filled up extremely quickly if you took everything pinned on a Win10 style for example as the menu by default would only show 10 items.

Win10 and 11 style have groups with differing requirements and pages.  In theory a pinned item could be added to both but then it raises the question as to what happens when you delete it from one?  Would you expect it to remove it from the other menus or not?

It may be we offer an option to allow pin to Win10 and 11 menus to sync for those who want it.

We are looking at taskbar things for v1.1.

I have an idea when it comes to taskbar features.

An optional icon that can be added to the taskbar that is integrated with fences 4 that allows windows peak to be activated with a mouse click.

i'm still not sure why having the same start menu items across all themes isn't a reasonable request. i've been trying to decide which works best for me. i populated the start menu for Win10, but there are aspects of Modern that are better (in my opinion - do not take this a criticism of any of the themes) and i'd like to switch but repopulating the start screen is really annoying.

yes - the idea would be that a single SM app list carries across all themes, so deleting on one would delete from all. Are the icon lists stored separately for each theme? is there some way (moving icons from folder to folder, editing the registry, etc.) that i can use to transfer in bulk?

this is a great tool for making Win11 actually usable

thanks
