Start11 Start Menu Button Image Broken in Ver. 0.95

The custom image is overlayed by the white Win11 button. 0.95 kinda borked everything. TrueLaunchBar is now obstructed by Start Button and the colors were all messed up. Fixed that but the button is not right.

You are the only person reporting anything similar right now and I cannot think of any changes which should have impacted this at all.

Are you using something to hack the OS into thinking it is Win10 to restore the non combined taskbar buttons, text labels and custom toolbars?

* To me it looks like TrueLaunchBar is abandonware. I am surprised it worked at all with windows 11 as its last update is 2019 and it looks like it will never ever have another update or anything the goes with windows 11 specifically.

* With the fact that there are so much task bar hacks and loosely legitimate taskbar customization currently floating around it does point to the issue that people just aren't satisfied with windows 11 taskbar. With the laws of supply and demand, people are demanding a better taskbar but their only supplier seems to be coming from these sites. I think everyone would rather them come from a legitimate site and are waiting for supply to catch up with demand on this issue.

* To be clear, I am satisfied with what start 11 has to offer at the 5 dollar mark and if for some reason fixing the taskbar is going to become a big project I do not think it would be the end of the world if you were to branch off to a separate program such as taskbar 11 as a separate offering.

Found the solution. Used Start* since Start8. Switched to StartAllBack. Gave me Win-X menu back and allows stable colors on Taskbar. TrueLaunchBar survived. I know it is old but it ain't dead and very useful. Win-. is broken but not sure what the cause is.

Bye, bye, 0.95 ain't for me.

I am sorry you had problems.

I believe the issue was caused by your use of a registry hack to reenable a Win10 like explorer in Win11.  When in this mode Start11 has to treat the OS as Win10 but the 0.95 build was detecting it as Win11 so you ended up with conflicts.

In which case this was fixed in 0.96.

I can confirm there is 100 percent compatibility between start 11 and explorer patcher
