Taskbar icons returned from app windows often have a max size in many cases of 32x32 pixels.  If your icons are physically larger than that then they will appear blurred as they have to be stretched to make them bigger.  This is alas normal.

You would need to go back in time and tell every developer to do that I am afraid and the consequences would probably be poorer visual quality on smaller taskbar sizes.

I know your special relationship with Microsoft. In particular, WindowsBlinds is the only third-party appearance customization software authorized by Microsoft. You should tell Microsoft to let them call 64x64 in the large-size taskbar and 32x32 in the medium-size taskbar, just as they do in small-size tasks. The column is the same as using 16x16. This is obviously the work of the platform (Windows, or Start11), not the software.
