Modern UI apps have no folder in Start 11

I'm running Start 11 in Windows 11, and there's one problem in the Start menu. The modern UI apps are not placed in their own folder, so the individual shortcuts for these Windows apps all are taking up a lot of space in the menu. In Start 10, the modern apps were automatically placed in their own folder called Universal Applications. I couldn't find any options in Start 11 to place the modern apps into a folder, and there's no way I can see to move the apps into a folder. Is this a glitch in the program or is there some way to fix this? Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, please check if you can enable this option : refer to the screenshot below.

Thanks

That did the trick. Thanks very much. I didn't even know that configuration screen existed. It's a bit hard to find it. Could you make that screen more obvious or more accessible in a future version?

Is the difficulty seeing the main page which can be accessed from the settings drop down, or just that one specific part of that page?

A bit of both I'd say. I know that clicking the dropdown arrow for each of the four styles lets you choose Compact or Grid. I just failed to click on Settings in the dropdown to investigate further. And then once in the Settings page, clicking the dropdown arrow for All Programs List didn't occur to me either. It all seems obvious now that I'm aware of it. But when initially configuring Start 11, I think I was more focused on responding to each of the main settings--Start menu, Start button, Taskbar, etc., that I bypassed most of the submenus and the more granular settings. I wonder if the Configuration screen could be listed among the other main settings such as Start menu, Start button, etc. so that it's more obvious.

I had this same issue where modern UI apps weren't in their own folder. I found the toggle switch and enabled it which worked on one of my two computers. On the other, it didn't work. With the toggle switch off, the modern UI app list appears above folders in the start menu, and there is no Modern UI applications folder. This is expected behavior. With the toggle switch on, the modern UI app list appears below the folders, and there is an empty Modern UI applications folder in the list of folders.

For the Windows 11 style, there is no option to put these apps in their own folder. Would be great if that were possible.
