Win 10 inexplicitly reboots and I think it is Fences
I installed Fences when I installed a fresh copy of Windows 10. Win 10 - 20H2 up to date. Fences.exe dated 8/2/2021. Ever since I installed Win 10 it for no reason just reboots, sometimes twice a day and often every day. This has nothing to do with Windows Update. I am seriously beginning to think Fences is the problem. Yet, some days, I have no issues but I am not without issues for more than a few days.
Fences Behavior
1. After I boot the machine all my fenced icons appear all over the screen
2. After a few seconds the icons disappear and I am left with a blank screen. If I click on the edge of the screen all of my fences show up with their assigned icons in them. I often thought this was a pretty odd process, but what do I know. In previous versions of windows I used ObjectDock. After I executed ObjectDock, the icon containers would immediately show up and I never experienced a problem (on Win 7). The process with Win10 and Fences is kind of over the top really. Why so many steps??? Or, is this not how Fences is supposed to function? I also keep many icons out of fences and on my desktop that I use more often.
3. When I don't click on the edge of the screen so the fences will appear I DO NOT have a reboot problem. Merely clicking the edge of the screen doesn't cause the reboot. Reboots happen at a random time but usually within an hour or two of initial boot up and always after I have clicked the screen edge to show my fences. I will continue to test this for several days however.
4. I am thinking that this is a Stardock issue and I am afraid that I may just have to uninstall Fences.
