Multiple new issues

New driver related maybe?

Today I updated my video drivers to the newest GeForce Game Ready Drivers ver. 472.12 Release Date 9/20/21.  I use a double monitor setup. After restarting my computer after the video driver update, my Fences are all on the wrong screen.  After trying to restore my previous layout by restoring a previous snapshot, which did not work, I decided to just move my Fences and make a new snapshot.  But this is where I ran into the second issue.  I have all 3 snapping/spacing options enabled, and the snapping when moving a Fence is now very unpredictable. Some Fences seem to snap and align properly and others do not.  It is near impossible to get my Fences aligned and organized now.

I when into the display setting to make sure the monitors were configured correctly with my primary monitor marked correctly and it was.

I looked at the Fences settings to make sure all of those settings were correct, and they were.

I know the problem is not necessarily with Fences, but if Fences is having issues working with the latest Nvidia drivers,  it may be something to look into.

At this point, I am better off uninstalling Fences until a fix can be found.

I had done as suggested which did not work (original post)"I went(sp) into the display settings to make sure the monitors were configured correctly with my primary monitor marked correctly and it was." ,  but as stated in my original post, I went ahead and rebuilt my fences.

My big problem now is the second issue I mentioned in the original post, which you did not address. (original post) " But this is where I ran into the second issue.  I have all 3 snapping/spacing options enabled, and the snapping when moving a Fence is now very unpredictable. Some Fences seem to snap and align properly and others do not.  It is near impossible to get my Fences aligned and organized now."

Are there any fixes for spacing and snapping not working?

Hello,

Can you post a video on your issue, so we can understand your issue better.

Just now I installed AMD's 'Adrenaline software' - before I was using the AMD video driver bundled with Windows - and my Recycle Bin was stuffed eight ways to Friday. To get the bin back, I had to: find a particular down arrow in Files - clicking which took me into the bin; using Fences's menu to disable Fences. Whenever I re-enable Fences, the Bin disappears again. Given the other problems (see the mistitled 'support thread') of the recent version of Fences, and Stardock's cavalier attitude to those problems, I am uninstalling Fences. Good riddance, frankly.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is best if you start your own thread on this issue. But, it might be just that your Recycle Bin just accidentally move to your other Fences desktop page. You can try disable Fences desktop page and see if it return.

Thanks
