I'd recommend against running it on Windows 11 if you heavily interact with the secondary system.

I run it on Win11 every day - I do not see this issue at all.

I am finding I can Run Multiplicty on primary screen of a Windows11 system (Host) but not able to have it on a secondary screen it sits in the taskbar. This is the same behaviour on multiple Windows 11 systems with multi-monitor setup. I can only remote control and show remote computer on the primary screen.

Windows Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.194) Windows 11

OK I can get it to work if I follow the following steps which is rather odd.

1) Start session to secondary system on Primary screen (Starts in full screen mode), I use a keyboard shortcut to start session.

2) Take out of full screen mode (Move to second screen if not already moved over)

3) Minimize the opened session to the taskbar

4) Open from the taskbar on second screen (The remote desktop can be seen in the window)

5) Now go full screen

So a little work around lets you do it. But it just sits in the taskbar if you start it without this method on another screen.

Will take some video and show it here. But I did notice in your video that it starts windowed rather than full screen. My issues arises when it starts full screen and then try and move it.

It does not look like your issue is so much with Multiplicity, its that its not getting drawn on the second monitor when moved there - perhaps an F5 (refresh) would force it to.

It might be worth it to look into updating your video drivers as well.

Im having the exact same issue.

100% fresh windows 11 install and all drivers up to date...

When i start KVM in full screen on main monitor and try to press the [1] to change it to second screen it just gets minimized on that screen.

And i cant open it nor interact whit it. And have to end up closing it.

The same issue is if i have the "open sidebar" on the main monitor and press connect it works..

But if i ahve the open sidebar showing on second monitor and press connect it ends up the same just a icon on the taskbar minimized and cant interact whit it other then "close"

But when i minimize the screen and drag it to the second monitor then go full screen it works..

I can also press [2] and move it back to main monitor like it supposed to work.

I made a video whit my problem...
I closed ALL other apps running "steam - discord etc..."

This is a completly fresh install of windows 11 sicne a few hours ago.

All windows update done and latest Nvidia drivers.

As you can see in the end i get it to work "IF" i window mode the screen, move it to the second monitor and then fullscreen it and switch from screen 1 and 2..

but as soon as i try to do it from scratch it dosent work

Been using KWM mode for years now and this is a brand new problem sicne i switched to Win 11 a few days ago..

So i've got 4 pcs using windows 10 and my main pc using windows 11. Will this work with Multiplicity KVM? I have not bought it yet as i wanted to know if it will get an official W11 support first (unless it works good already, in that case i might aswell get it right away while its on sale)

Trying to revive this topic, as this still is a thing in January 2023. Since upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 I experience exactly the same problem as shown in the video. When I click the [1] or [2] button, the window completely disappears. My only option is to first exit fullscreen mode, then drag the window to the destination monitor and then enter fullscreen mode again. Pls fix

If you are still having the issue, it needs its own thread as this one should have never been used - a completely different topic.

Please create one, fortifying it with all the data \ video \ screenshots \ steps to reproduce \ things tried in it.
