Universal apps won't run from Start 10

Work fine from standard Windows 10 Start Menu

I've tested Windows 11 and Start 11 on my system a couple of times, but there are too many changes that interfere with my workflow for me to have stayed n W11. However the last time I rolled back I discovered that Thew Universal Apps menu in Start 10 no longer launches any of the apps. If I go to the Win10 Start menu they launch just fine.

I've removed both the Start apps, Start 11 was still installed even though I did an O/S roll back. I also before reinstalling Start 10, del;eted the Universal Apps folder under my user profile. But still the Universal apps do not launch. There is also no error message popped when trying to launch them. But as I said if I go to the original Start menu from Win10, they load just fine.

I suspect I failed to remove everything I need when I did the uninstall, but am very open to suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Ideas?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I just noticed we have the same "joined" date. Interesting coincidence.
