Can't install latest rev of ObjectDock - UAC error says it is blocked

First of all, this is the most poorly managed forum I've ever come across.  At the root level of the forum I see categories and click on ObjectDock.  I would expect to see nothing but posts relating to ObjectDock, but I see posts for pretty much EVERY product StarDock offers!  It's bad enough StarDock doesn't offer user support, but having a forum as the only means by which users can get support and then having those forums be completely disorganized is just ridiculous!

Now for my issue ...

I can't install the latest version of ObjectDock.  When I try to run the installer, I get a UAC error that says the software is blocked and to contact an administrator.  This seems ridiculous because I am the only one using my computer and I am the ONLY administrator!  I tried running the installer as Administrator, but got the same error.

I wondered if ObjectDock was compatible with Windows 10 because in Googling my problem, I found a number of instances that indicated this is the case.  There seems to be no definitive answer to this question - even on StarDock's own website.  How can this not be the case after so many years?

Also, I thought it might be my AV/security software causing the problem, but I disabled it and tried the install again with the same result.

I'll continue digging through this forum for info on how to solve this problem, but doing so is exhausting!  I should be able to do a simple search and find the answer!  It appears that is not possible.  Hey StarDock ... really poor customer service!

Personally, I don't think you deserve any answers with that hostile and rude attitude blaming Stardock for your lack of knowledge and competence how to use a forum.

It is clearly stated on the bottom of the Object Dock page that Windows 10 is NOT supported - only 8/7, although many users have it working under W10. There are no plans of updating Object Dock to be fully compatible with Windows 10 at this point.

If UAC won't let you install, how about you disable it and try again? You managed to do so with your AV, so shouldn't be a problem.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

One here's a list of what works with Windows 10 https://forums.stardock.com/469435/page/1/

While some are able to run OD on their Win10 system some are not .

Since OD is not supported for Windows10 you may find some features do work

while other features may not as others are reporting to us .

"... OD is not supported for Windows10 ..."

If this is the case, Syardock should say so, clearly and prominently on their website/product pages.  Not doing so is disinterested customer service at best and downright deceptive at worst.

Hello,

If you look at the bottom of all the product pages it shows you what versions of Windows apply

In the case of Object Dock 8 / 7

Now would be a good time to read all the answers above given to you, and stop this nonsense.
