Can't intall latest version (3.13)

from Stardock Forums

Hi, 

I got the notification about the new available version but when I try to install it, I get this message after approving the installation (sorry, the message is in French....) :

"Cette opération a été annulée en raison de restrictions sur cet ordinateur. Contactez votre administrateur système."

The issue is that it's my personnal computer, so I'm the administrator...

Can you help me please?

(Windows build : 19043.1165 - Version 21H1)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try download direct from your and install using that one. https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Try that and report back.

Thank you for your reply. I finally have some time to look into my issue again. I had already tried the solution you suggested and tried it again just now, unfortunately, with no success.

I tried by right-clicking and "Execute as admin" (or something like that in English), and no more luck either.

I tried modifying the restriction of my C-drive, but nothing, still the same error message.

I really don't understand what's happening and I'm completely hopeless.

Maybe I'll be luckier with the next version! :) Of course, if you have any idea meanwhile, I'm open to it!

Would you do this PURGE: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version again from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

install to Default C: location no changes .

Reboot , test and report back please.
