Blank desktop on Windows 10

from Stardock Forums

As some others have noted, after installing the latest version I'm getting a blank desktop, wallpaper only. I want to reinstall, but Fences isn't listed in My Products because I activated it on Steam. Does this mean I need to uninstall and then reinstall through Steam? I really want to avoid uninstalling. Or can I get Fences to somehow show up in My Products?

Hello,
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to follow the steps for steam only. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I update to the latest Fences and now my old one is gone and I can't creaTe any Fences at all

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Make sure your settings are set to reply#1

and right-click on desktop to view and scroll

down to Lock Fences and make sure it's Un Locked ( un checked )

then all should be fine .
