Fences update removed ALL my icons on the Desktop

Hi,

I just got an upgrade notification and went ahead with upgrading Fences. 
Then a reboot was needed but since I was going to bed I thought that I could just shut it down and start the PC next day.

Now is next day and ALL my icons on the desktop is gone!??

How to get fences to work and all icons back?
I will try another restart to see if that helps but I doubt it.

I think I have 2 accounts with you so I will have to check since I think I bought Fences twice during the years!
