Taskbar messed up. It just happened yesterday

Possibly due to windows updates.

alright I'm having some major problems with windows scaling. I did not have this issue before yesterday, so I don't know what the solution is. It seems that both Window Blinds and Curtains are scrunching up the bottom left part of the taskbar. Sometimes it just dissapears. Is Stardock aware of this? If not, how can I help you guys fix it?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, most probably the same issue as hi-lighted in the forum for these couple of days by others. You can refer here for input from Support.

Neither Curtains or WindowBlinds are known to trigger the bug in the latest Microsoft patch.

However Fences, WindowFX, and Groupy are along with a number of other non Stardock applications.

Are you using one of those?

The root issue is a bug in the patch Microsoft put out and we have reported this to Microsoft so they can fix their bug.

Its groupy then. The bug went away after removing groupy. groupy is EXTREMELY important for me. I've been dealing with this problem and I ahve no way to fix it. I also use fences.

I'm growing frustrated here. I use groupy for productivity reasons and I really want this to be fixed.

I'm tempted to install Windows 11 tomorrow. But I know that's almost certainly going to be a mistake...
I doubt they will have a good launch since they never have smooth ones.

If you install the optional preview patch KB5003690 it should address the Microsoft taskbar issue.
