Firefox sometimes skins and sometimes doesn't

When I start Firefox, sometimes it skins and sometimes it doesn't (leaving the default Windows appearance in place).  Same thing with Thunderbird.  If either doesn't skin then I close it and restart it and it skins.  No idea why.  Insights and suggestions welcome, but this is not a critical issue -- just would be nice if the next version fixed it.

it doesnt skin google chrome either... there is a work around that people have been doing but that doesnt work anymore either.... hope they can fix browsers skining in a new update for windowblinds.... where we wont have to try any work arounds for the browsers to skin properly...

End of IAMTHEMACHINE's quote

The existing workaround for Chrome works just fine as far as I am aware.
