Groupy and FVD Speed Dial extension bug

I had set Groupy to always group all windows, so this included browsers and it seemed to work well for a while. But last week on firefox speed dials goes mad and the browser goes out of the desktop, and I keep having to reset the browser. I moved everything to edge last week just to see if the problem was replicated in another browser, it was.

After much testing I found Groupy and FVD speed dials extension to be interfering with each other, so I set Groupy to only group upon hovering with the control button pressed and everything went back to normal, until today.

Speed dials has been randomly separately opening up links and doing this from the taskbar even without a browser being open. I can't lose FVD speed dials, I wish I could but they lock you in, I cannot properly export. So my option is to uninstall Groupy, which is a shame because I love it.

Any ideas?

What version of Windows ( use winver.exe for that info )

What version of Groupy ?

The description of the problem doesn't sound like anything Groupy could do.

It wouldn't know how to make FVD Speed dials open up links.

Are you sure it isn't the case that there is a new version of FVD Speed dials thats buggy?  That would explain the sudden change in behaviour.
