Uploading to Wincustomize

Depending on how long it was up it might not have been approved. If thats not it I don't know what happened.

nope i don't think so, for any other previous uploads i got them in my list of skins with a mention "waitng for aprovment" or something like that ...

neophil78.....list the names of the work/s that appear to be 'missing' and I can check for you. The chances are they may have been moderated 'efficiently'/speedily....

ok, just so we dont side-track yet another thread - I havent experienced anything like that in all the years I've been at WC, so it might just be as Jafo said - that the modders (God forbid it) have worked fast

Now and then a work may be approved [or exiled] within seconds of its upload...depends entirely on what it is and its 'suitability' and whether someone has just checked that pending section at the time....

I've seen it happen that fast before.

do all modders have 'access' to verify all uploads - or have the diff sections been split up amongst them?

No...everyone has access to all the sections....but some works are clearly not sutable...or are particularly 'suitable' and don't actually require a million people to see them to concur...though sometimes if they're particularly 'bad' they will stay awhile to be giggled-over....

Jafo, nope they have not been moderated speedily.
As the names of screenshot, preview and file were, fairly long, with a lot of "_", i tried to rename the whole "shortly" and ..... It works normally .... . So it's waiting for approvment right now ...

neophil78....actually that screenshot 'preview' is too small...it should be a full-size jpg....the 'small' preview is generated automatically by the site coding...could you re-up it?....Thanks...

Jafo, nope it's really what i said (a problem with long names and/or using a lot of "_" in the files names). My previews are all 150 X 120 .jpg files so the site coding has not to resize them ... . And .... it's on now https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&SkinID=2888

Neophil78....no, you misunderstand...we WANT you to re-upload the 'preview' image FULL-SIZE....we don't want it reduced by you before upload....

Jafo, if i upload the preview image as full size (1152x864) it's not reduced correctly by your automatic reducing system ... i experienced that days ago ...

neophil78.....that link shows a correct preview....that is the way they are intended....if it looks wrong on your system then that is a problem with your settings, not the site coding.....I just rejected anothe screenshot for the same problem....you'll have mail...

GGGGGGgggggggggrrrrrrrrr, i have no setting problem on my comp, but Wincustomize autmat reducing system is not working correctly when uploading as 1152 X 864 et Paffff

neophil78....go into your edit account settings and if you have the setting for 'check for speed'...change that to the other setting....
