Dark Border Around Cursors

A dark border appears around all my CursorFX cursors!

Good morning All, I have never really noticed this before or it never stood out to me, but there is a dark border around all my cursors as they display on my monitor. I recently recreated one of my cursor sets using .cur files and implementing them through the Windows 10 Mouse Properties Control Panel. They all display much cleaner without the dark outline.

The sample cursor box which displays the settings changes in the CursorFX settings window shows the cursor very clear while the actual cursor has a dark border around it. See the attached comparison image.

Is this issue unique to my monitor or is this some type of Mask around the cursor which is required to make it display properly on the Windows system? It seems to be the case with all of my downloaded cursors, not just my creations.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you have a link where I can download that Cursor so that I can test it on my system?

Thanks

You can find this cursor at https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/cursorfx/3287/

As I said, all of the cursors I have downloaded exhibit this dark outline.

The shadow option is turned off.
