Cannot start/open programs on secondary desktop from primary computer

Can connect to another computer using KVM but cannot start/open programs by double clicking on the ICON shortcut on Secondary computer desktop. The primary computer shows the secondary desktop as it should but cannot start/open programs from secondary desktop.

Using Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 - Build 19042.906 and latest version of Multiplicity 3.57 build 00103.kvmpro trial. Using Norton 360 Deluxe as security on the primary computer. Secondary computer using Mac Afee Deluxe suite security. Local private (DSL) WIFI. All computers have the Windows Firewall rules as outlined in the Multiplicity copy/paste help document.

This problem does not occur every time I make connections using KVM mode of Multiplicity from the primary computer to the secondary computer. I use the sidebar to connect and the IP address as the computer name.

I think that I found out what the problem was. There was an outstanding Windows 10 Pro update request for restarting the primary and secondary computers. After I restarted both computers (primary and secondary) the problem disappeared. I have experienced this before on other software after a Window update request for restart.

This might be needed to be sent to your support staff too. They may know of this happening before.

Thanks for your help.
