When in windows you press the windows KEY, bottom left and D the background is gone, I can alt tab but when I use WIN + D Bg is gone.

1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.
2. What Stardock's Software you're having problem with? And that Software version.

I do not want to DL a software do recog of my software but i can give what I can see.

Let me clarify.

You have one or more progs/open, then you as as you do in windows, PRESS the left WIN button and the button D.

Whateverever background is now gone.

I am not trying to , make things, difficult.

Winver.exe is a Microsoft software that come with Windows. Just type Windows key + Winver and press enter. That should run Winver.exe.

I notice you mentioned, Stardock's Fences, right? What version of Fences you're on? Is the issue do not happen when you disable Fences? And also, I still need what version of Windows version you're on? As I mentioned on my first reply you can get that information using Winver.exe, which is a program that come along when you install Windows.

These questions, I asked you, so I can help you. And I can give you pointers on how to solve it. But if you can't give me these answers, than I can not help you.

Is the issue only happen while you're playing a video and you press Windows key + D. Only while playing video on VLC? Sorry I need more details since I can not reproduce it on my system.

This is happening if I WIN D from any applicatkon. Example a maximized win explorer.

Or any app that iss full screen, alt+tab works fine. But When I do Win +D to go to desktop it is black.

Are you not able to replicate it?

Not for me, I can't reproduce it on my system. BTW, do you see the issue if you use Win + M keys (minimize-all)

Try that and report back.

Win + M works fine. desktop is the same.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
