Desktop Fences with Programs, Folders and Files have Disappeared

Unable To Recapture Missing Fences

Hi,

Yesterday while working with a folder, I inadvertently caused all items to open on the desktop as icons. The result is that the three Fence areas: Programs, Folders and Files, have disappeared and I'm unable to recreate any of them. I can find everything using File Explorer, but would like to know how to reclaim Fences and the attendant data. Restarting computer didn't help. Any info, direction would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks KK

Try restoring a Snapshot

 Just now I did a deep uninstall of Fences and immediately all program, folder, and file icons showed up on the desktop for the first time in a day. Whew...glad to see them. So, now I'll reinstall Fences and see if that solves whatever problem I created. Always operator error, right!

Try double-clicking on a blank desktop area... that worked for me when my desktop icons vanished
