Start 10 Configuration from Object desktop

How to apply the configuration?

Hi, I installed start from the OD, but find no "apply" or some such button; just exiting did not change the start menu, reboot did not help either. I tried the same trick with ESET Nod as I did previously for Blinds, namely

but still nothing. What am I missing? Please advise.

 Windows 10 [Version 10.0.19042.804]

TCC Build 25   Windows 10 Build 19042

Alternatively, I am thinking of using the freeware StartMenu X, would anybody care to comment or compare it to Start10?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Start10 don't have apply button. There are 3 option of design style in Start10 which you can pick in Start10 configuration windows. Please refer below. If you have Windowblinds running in the background that if you choose "Windows 7 Style", Start10 will change according your Windowblinds style.

If you don't have Windowblinds running, what is running to change your taskbar and Windows frame? Curtains?

Hi, I do have Blinds running! Sorry I was not clear about it. From the Object Desktop I am currently using CursorFX, Multiplicity, and WindowBlinds (curtains were not enough :)) and also am planning to try Fences (have used an early version - on XP, I believe). I am still hoping that Start10 would play nicely with the others, being part of the same offer.

Thank you for responding so fast. Would you have another solution?

Regards Emil

Hello,

Could you post screenshots of your Start10 on section named

  • Style : Should look something what I posted on my Reply#1.
  • Control : Should look something like below.

Hello again, and thank you very much again - I am not sure what I had wrong, but being an impatient sort, I tried to mimic your screenshot before taking a screenshot in mine, and voilá, now it works !! I feel rather foolish, but very grateful. Best regards  Emil
